AirMeUp offers the following advantages:
1. AirMeUp uses the native SMS interface of the device. There is no need to change the way you send text messages.
2. The ability to send unlimited text messages with unlimited characters for both the sender and the recipient.
3. There is no need for a different user ID (your phone number is your user ID).
4. Low battery consumption.
5. Your text message will be received as a regular SMS, coming from your number (not a special number that will charge a premium reply cost).



If you do not have a data plan, AirMeUp wil use approximately 100kb per month.
An average SMS will consume approximately 200 Bytes.
For the cost of 1 regular SMS you can send approximately 500 SMS message via AirMeUp.
If you have a minimal data plan (25Mb) AirMeUp will use about 0.005 of your data plan to send 100 SMS messages per month.


Please send an email to our support and include the following details:
Your phone number (including country code), brand of mobile phone and mobile phone model.
We will make sure you receive your username and password, including a download link.


At AirMeUP, we are constantly working to expand the list of supported devices.
We invite you to use the AirMeUp PC version, and we will notify you as soon as versions for additional devices are released.


After a short registration process, you will receive an SMS with a link to download the AirMeUp client.

The AirMeUp client application is designed to run on smartphones that have Internet capability. Currently, we support Symbian S60 devices, which includes many Nokia devices as well as a number of SonyEricsson, Samsung, LG and Motorola devices.

Once you download the AirMeUp client, you can send your SMS messages from your mobile using your phone`s native SMS interface for FREE to your friends with AirMeUp installed on their devices!

If the recipient of the SMS has not yet installed AirMeUp, a regular SMS will be sent.
The recipient will be able to reply to you for free by a "Free reply link" attached to the sent SMS (you need to enable this reply link in the application settings).


Account Setting: Please insert your login details as received in the AirMeUp client installation SMS.
UserID (This should be your country code followed by your mobile number. For example: 972541234567) and Password

Connection Setting:
Allows the user to change the Internet access point, such as, Internet or predefined WiFi.
The default and recommended access point is: Internet (NOT WAP)
A WAP access point is not compatible because the providers normally block internet data transfer.

Auto Start:
(yes/no, default setting options = yes). If auto start is set to YES, then the AirMeUp client application will automatically start, after rebooting the device.

Debug:
(yes/no, default setting options = yes) If YES, then the AirMeUp client application will create a log file AMUlog.txt in c:

Roaming:
(yes/no, default setting options = no) If Roaming is set to YES, then the AirMeUp client application will allow the user to send internet data while roaming.
If Roaming is set to YES, then the AirMeUp client application will allow the user to send internet data while roaming.
Please check with your cellular mobile provider for the cost of sending and receiving data while roaming.

Free Response Link:
(yes/no, default setting options = yes) If this is set to YES, then if you send an SMS to a NON- AirMeUp member (by way of a regular SMS) the SMS will be sent with a response link.
This link allows any Internet supported device to respond to you with a free SMS (minimal data charge of less than 1/4 cent).
This link can ONLY be attached if the SMS does not exceed the maximum number of allowable characters.

Skip Regular SMS PopUp:
(yes/no, default setting options = no) if YES, than the question dialog ,in case the SMS is sent to NON AirMeUp member, will not appear.


1. If you send an SMS to an AirMeUp member, then the SMS will be sent for FREE
2. If you send an SMS to a NON-AirMeUp member, the SMS will be sent by your regular service provider.



There is NO limit to the number of SMS messages that users can send using the AirMeUp service.


Group SMS is part of the eXtra Package. Currently, this feature is available to all of our users for free.


SMS messages can be sent using the AirMeUp application domestically or internationally for FREE amongst AirMeUp users, or by the reply links, if you send the message to a non-AirMeUp user.


AirMeUp is a battery friendly application optimized for today's smart phones, as opposed to other VoIP or IM solutions, which will quickly drain your battery, due to presence update and many other issues.
Be aware that older smart phones may have slightly higher battery consumption than newer models.


If AirMeUp shows that I'm "Not Connected": please check your connection settings.
If AirMeUp shows that I'm "Not Logged In": please check your account settings.

The free sms counter, located on the main screen of the application, only counts SMS messages that are sent via AirMeUp to another AirMeUp member.


Not at the moment, but it is on our roadmap.
We will make sure to notify you as soon as the Mac version is released.


The SMS is free only between online members.
Be sure that you and the recipient are both connected and logged in.
